Important information for Profile designers at Fashion Expo November 19th 2008 at the Islington Design Centre.jpg "Profile Showcasing at Fashion Expo") Today there has been a successful review of designer applications to date and we are pleased to confirm that designated designers will be receiving an email confirming their attendance at the panel selection review on Tuesday September 23rd. Each designer will be asked to attend the review at the City Fringe Head Office at Venue: City Fringe Partnership Offices, Unit 3.06, Tea Building, 56 Shoreditch High Street, London E 6JJ and each designer will be given a designated time for their presentation. Please see the list of iinformation to present to the panel if approprirate:-  1. 6-8 garments from their S/S 09 collection. Please note that these garments must form a collection that will be suitable for the catwalk i.e. a signature style, a coordinated range and not individual items reflecting a diverse colour palette from differing seasons. These garments all need to be of excellent quality and the panel will be assessing individual garments for standard of make e.g. double turned hems, French seaming, covered shoulder pads, real mother of pearl buttons, double yokes and other fine attention to detail 2. An overview of the company. If you have any literature that provides a history of your company, number of people employed, sales, stockists, clients et al. please submit and present accordingly 3. Press Books and any photo shoots undertaken 4. Sketch pads, mood boards and any other creative work to reflect your design prowess. Whilst the panel want this to be an enjoyable experience, this will be a formal presentation and we do recommend all designers are well prepared fpr the 20 minute meeting.
