As the semi-finals approach, the competition really is hotting up, with over 110 applicants firmly in the running not only to become the next Kate Moss of Croydon but to win the ultimate modelling opportunity of a lifetime. The lucky winner will also feature in our Profile catwalk show in the Big Apple alongside New York Fashion Week between the 8^th and 10^th September.

The delectable Ashley McKenzie of hit television scouting series X Factor will present the semi finals on the 14^th June. At this stage the over 110 applicants will have been whittled down to just 50 girls who will congregate at the empty Unit opposite Café Giardino in Centrale Shopping Centre at 2pm prompt. Any applicant under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian present to provide consent.

Divinity Modelling Agency has kindly offered to loan a succession of stunning little black dresses to be worn by all potential models taking part in the semi finals which must be collected from Enter Boutique in Croydon on Friday 13^th prior to the semi final. This is to ensure all contestants will have the same opportunities and clothing will not be taken into consideration when selecting winners.

Two winners will be selected, one of which by Rah Productions and the second by the FashionCapital online voting system. The winner selected by Rah will endeavour on the journey of a lifetime and the latter “Peoples Choice” will be awarded with a variety of vouchers generously provided by retailers throughout Centrale Shopping Centre.

Timetable for Semi Final – Saturday 14^th June

From a pre selected 50 short listed model selection the judges will be selecting 20 contestants for the final on 21st June.

2.00pm: Contestants to assemble (from 2pm onwards).

3.00pm: Dress rehearsal

4.00pm: Semi final commences

4.40pm: Judges deliberate

5.00pm: 20 finalists announced

The grand final where the judges will be selecting the winner for the New York Trip and there is an announcement of the People's Favourite!
