The Best burlesque newcomers showcase and after show party was fabulous! The venue for this event was the wonderful Madame Jo Jo's situated in the heart of Soho. The retro interiors and buzzing atmosphere was the perfect setting and the acts were amazing they each deserved their newcomer's titles!
There were also burlesque style hats and nipple tassles available to buy or to be made to measure, the hats that is not the nipple tassles. Tricia Cox is currently studying millenary and has her own hat business where she shows her one off pieces at many burlesque events.  Each burlesque act was unique in its own way, there was two double acts called Femme Ferale who used balloons in a rather interesting way! The others were called Frivolitease and they transformed themselves from sexy secretaries to wonder women. Both these acts won the best new duet title!  The evening's host can only be described as a Mexican Elvis who was brilliant fun and kept the audience laughing, especially his array of Elvis style jump suits that he changed into every time he came on stage. The special guest of the evening was Romany Diva of Magic who performed some impressive magic tricks and illusions with a little audience participation. She had performed her magic act in many countries including Paris and Las Vegas where she performed for the likes of Johnny Depp.  Every girl had a different look and shape which is the beauty of burlesque and each had a different story in their act on stage.
