Applications open for September '08 Fashion Forward Sponsorship
The
British Fashion Council (BFC) today announced that they are accepting
applications for Fashion Forward sponsorship.
As part of the BFC's support for young British
design talent, Fashion Forward offers funding for production of a catwalk
show during
London Fashion Week. Established in September 2006,
internationally renowned designers such as Giles, Jonathan Saunders and

Generation funding within the last three years, or are at a similar stage of
business development. While all applications will be
considered, it is unlikely that companies whose turnover is less than £100,000
or greater than £1,000,000 will be short listed.

Katie Bain at the British Fashion Council by e-mail
or phone +44 (0)20 7636 7788.The

Notes to
Editors
BFC Fashion Forward is a scheme to
give support to British designers who have already established a profile at
London Fashion Week through the New Generation programme, or who are at an
equivalent stage in their business. The primary aim is to enable designers to
show their collections at London Fashion Week. Applicants for the sponsorship
are short listed and interviewed by a selection panel consisting of the BFC,
journalists and buyers.
