Style Live at Centrale Shopping Centre Print E-mail
Last week Centrale Shopping Centre in Croydon hosted a VIP evening consisting of champagne, canapés, makeovers and a high-voltage fashion show…

The evening was the launch of Centrale’s ‘Style Live’ Easter weekend; the ultimate fashion show and beauty event.

David Parham, Centrale Manager was on hand to say a few words:

The Style Live event got off to a great start with our VIP evening on Wednesday. Customers were treated to a preview of our retailer’s latest collections, including Fashion Enter Boutique, to inspire their Spring/Summer wardrobes. Our celebrity hosts Mark Hayes and Andrew Barton were extremely entertaining and were on hand at the centre all weekend to offer fashion and hair tips to shoppers. I am really pleased that all the attendees had such a great time and we hope to continue this success over the Easter weekend.”

Throughout the weekend shoppers were treated to a fashion extravaganza of catwalk shows, celebrity stylists, make-up specialists and even competitions to win the Ultimate Makeover.

The VIP evening gave a positive kick-start to the proceedings. After mingling in Café Giardino with a delightful selection of canapés and champagne, guests were escorted to the catwalk for the evening’s entertainment.

Key trends were represented from Centrale’s top stores. H&M showed jewel bright hues, a big trend to look out for this summer. Colours and styles were young and playful with bright yellow teamed with electric blue and vivid green. Shorts and skirts were worn high above the knee, sleeves were short and jackets cropped.

Safari was another trend set to dominate the stores this summer. From Jane Norman we saw body-con dresses with belted waists, neutral tones with accented prints teamed-up with denim. The show also included plenty of options for those the other side of 25. Hats, fascinators and hair accessories from delicate diamante clips to oversized flowers gave a nod to romantic occasion dressing thanks to House of Fraser.

Jenny Holloway, Director of Fashion Enter & FashionCapital commented:

The launch of the Style Live Easter weekend proved to be highly successful, as we knew it would be! The event gave us the chance to showcase our Fashion Enter designer collections during the Easter catwalk shows. Such fashion shows prove to be an amazing hit with customers and this is exactly why Fashion Enter chose to be in Centrale. Centrale is an upmarket shopping experience and our sales have continued to increase. We have been so successful here we have attracted a stylish, premium cosmetics range to showcase in our boutique. Arista Cosmetics is a luxurious brand aimed at Black, Asian and Latin women. We believe Centrale is the perfect location for Arista and Fashion Enter. Watch out for our new ‘R U The Face of Croydon’ in association with Arista due to launch soon.”
