An MBA (Business Women) by profession and Fashion Designer by choice is the talented Nikita Thakkar. Having spent more than a decade in the lovely Metropolitan city Mumbai which is considered the heart of INDIA she developed utmost passion for Fashion.
Coming from a family with business orientation she decided to have a blend of business studies with fashion. All this was only as she craved for fashion that did not end despite being graduated into a completely different field. Being fascinated by fashion from childhood, launching her brand was the ultimate aim. During her days of college she started from abode, held exhibitions and participated in fashion shows and with all the family support she managed to get her own brand ‘Gulmohar’ launched showcasing The Asian Bridal Wear. 
Being involved with the fashion industry for more than 8 years she considers designing to be extremely subjective in nature. A sophisticated yet wearable collection, with clear design philosophy is the only aim of her designs. The intricacy of her designs highlight embellished solitaries, diamonds, beads, and crystals being the distinctive features of her Asian bridal collection, which she specialises. The contemporary designs of her collections portraits the beauty a women. To put it in a nutshell, Nikita is the person who understands that an Indian carcass is never like a model we are usually a few inches more and her designs are always something that is more wearable to the Indian figure. 
Nikita says....“I've always had a clear design philosophy and point of view about being modern, sophisticated, clean and minimal. They all apply to my design aesthetic”.
