Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos are the designers behind the Pilotto label which first came to the London fashion scene last season via On/Off. This time around they presented at the Vauxhall Fashion Scout to a packed audience filled with some rather fashion forward individuals.

As the first outfits appeared the eyes were blasted with cosmic-coloured splatter prints but what became apparent from some of the more tailored pieces were some rather exceptional cutting skills.

A show of many contrasts; billowing draped layers were combined with strong shouldered leather jackets while waists were nipped-in with rope belts. Snoods, layers and cowboy boots continued the hippy traveller vibe giving design details such as unique twists and drapes a more casual effect.

This season Peter Pilotto bagged TopShop New Generation exhibition sponsorship and while the collection may not be to everyone’s taste there is no doubt that the label is one to watch over the coming seasons.
