Photographer Nicholas Vidler and model Britney Lee land in Auckland...

Britney and I are now in New Zealand and due to internet access being some what limited it's taken a few days before being able to add to my blog.

On our first day in Auckland we met up with up and coming designer Anna Steele who we shot some work for on Karekare Beach, where the movie ‘The Piano’ was filmed, just outside of the city. We then drove down to Rotorua and was granted free admittance to one of the national parks famous for its Geothermal pools etc.

We were also granted permission to shoot around the famous Prince's Gate Hotel in the town as well as shooting around the perimeter of Rotorua Lake.

Before flying on to Christchurch and the South Island we shot in the rain forests and on the beaches of the Coromandel Peninsula. Today we intend shooting in Christchurch which is considered the most English city outside of the UK and tomorrow we are heading off in the direction of Mount Cooke and the Franz Josef Glacier.
