Ethical News Flash: Make your Mark in Fashion Competition Print E-mail
Young enterprise campaign, ‘Make your Mark’ have launched an exciting ethical fashion competition for wannabe sustainable designers entitled ‘Make your Mark in Fashion’.


Junky Styling The competition brief requires teams of 3-6 people to create a new range for one of nine established fashion labels; Junky Styling, THTC, Makepiece, Juste, Enamore, From Somewhere, Liv, Terra Plana and Ciel. All UK residents aged 14-30 not already in a registered fashion business can enter, where their will be required to submit design sketches alongside a simple business plan. The next stage will be short listing finalists where the work will be profiled at a major fashion event and pitched in front a panel of judges. Three winning teams will be selected and will work in conjunction with the business of their choice to create samples of their range to be showcased on the catwalk at On/Off in London Fashion Week, September 2008.
