Designer turns Manufacturer
Designers know only too well how difficult it is to source the right manufacturer for their collection. Designers can spend days and days of research trying to find the right production unit to make samples, seals and small run production and then, if they are not careful, the unit may just not be right for their collection. Well worry not! Catharina is at hand to help new and emerging designers every step of the way. And she has taken the unusual step of opening her own sampling unit in Wimbledon, specialising in silks and fine fabrics. Catharina has worked at Alexander McQueen’s creative studio and at Ben de Lisi. Catharina commented: “I have had my label for over two years and I was becoming increasing frustrated to find the right production unit for me that understand the fine fabrics that my collection has. Eventually I decided to invest in machinery and offer my own services and this way I can have complete control of the high quality standards that I work too.” If you would like to arrange a meeting with Catharina please contact Catharina on or 07766963780 -Ends- Notes to editors
