In this complex world, let’s reminisce about travel and romance in foreign countries. Let us be inspired by First Class travel and casual luxury. This look is chic and elegant, mixing feminine dresses with masculine tailoring. This Retro story is straight from the 40’s.


Colours 

The elegant and understated story, suggests mysterious and muted shades. The colours range from neutrals and tan shades blurring into the bluish purples hues. An exquisite pallete of old fashioned colours. 


Fabrics

Retro inspired fabric rule this story…….

Light weight silk crepe de chines, slubby silk shantung suiting and chintz based for prints. Tailoring fabrics dery subtle and attention to finishing is observed.

Zanzibar, by Caroline Shaw

A hot, playful and exotic high summer story. An exuberant blend of inspiration Mexico, Zanzibar, Asia and Latin America. An eclectic theme, mixing the ethnic influences in an exciting contrast.


Colours

Passionate tones and harmonies of reds and orange dominate! Inspiration taken from the vibrant colours of spice markets. Mix these tones with exuberant abandonment!


Fabrics

Masses of pattern dominate this vibrant story. Mix prints, colourwoven’s, jaquards and batiks to create a vibrant look. Print bases vary from slinky viscose jerseys to stretch cottons. Raffia and bamboo patterns and textures are also important.

Transport yourself to the beautiful and calming beaches of Northern Europe.Sit on the beach and let the tranquil, milky sunlight relax you, and take you back to the 30’s and 40’s. In search of a natural and peaceful lifestyle. Influences   combine retro sport looks with a certain romantisicm.


Colours

Sun bleached pastels and overexposed neutrals create a palette of fresh retro colours. These tones suggest a feeling of innocence, lightness and fluidity.


Fabrics

The natural choice of fabrics are cottons, linens and laces - all in the finest lightest of weaves. Beach inspired stripes and checks are key for this retro sports look. Prints are inspired by the deco era, and take on a transparency in the use of subtle colourations.

Indulge your playful side in the joyful Cuban and Latin American settings with a 70’s feel. The tropical theme engages you with nature, making you feel vibrant and cheerful! The jungle spirit offers psycadellic camouflage!  This look must be used in all summer ranges from daywear and evening items to funky sportswear pieces.   


Colours

The colours have the feeling of almost artificial colours, creating a sunshiny vibrant mood. The colours are intense and tropical, straight from the jungle. A vibrant blend of blues and greens, sunshine yellow and bright red tones. Pink as coral play the contrast. Offset with black for a retro 70’s feel. 


Fabrics
