Colour Pop, by Caroline Shaw

Entering a new fashion frontier. This is a fusion of New York stories inspired by 60’s Pop Art iconography mixed up with to 80’s graffiti and Blondie looks. Simply put – Vulgar Chic!

A fun and daring attitude to brights – cartoon couture.

Blocks of pure colour and geometric shapes in clothing, make up and accessories. Not brave enough to wear this look head to toe? Then off- set with neutrals or black.

Colours

A playful and optimistic colour story, taken straight from the Pop Artist’s palette. Primary and intense hues: crimson ultramarine, acid yellow, papal purple, bubblegum pink, tangerine. Are you ready to convert to colour? Bring it on!

Fabrics

Due to the strong and vibrant hues these colours lend themselves to high gloss and shiny fabrics. Technically astute and lacquered fabrics sit alongside leathers, PVC’s shiny silks, rubber and mesh. Hi gloss and plastic finishes rule. Graphic blocks patterns inspired by Mondrian paintings feature in knits and wovens.

Hollywood
Glamour, by Caroline Shaw

Colours

This elegant & luxury palette evokes the lightness and of rose petals and softness of ostrich feathers. ‘Barely there’ shades of delicate old rose pinks, apricot tones, palest lavenders, soft lemons and creams. Mix in sparkling silver sequinns and hints of gold for the ultimate fantasy factor!

Fabrics

Immerse yourself in totally retro inspired luxurious fabrics to make you feel like Dorothy Lamour! Silk velvets and devorez ooze sensuality. Fluid crepes and satins are used drape the body to create goddess like dresses. Stardust and jewel encrusted silks shimmer in the night. Ottomans and luxury metallic jacquards add surface pattern. Softness is created with fluffy and downy knits.  Ostrich feather trims are key!
