I have just completed my BA Hons Textile Design degree and achieved a 2:1, my specialism lies within knit and print embellished fabrics. I especially love the possibilities of print on knit for a fashion context.

Although the qualification is Textile based I have very strong skills in innovative garment design which is the main application for my knitted and printed designs.

I am also excellent at digital design towards a fashion related context and love to create pattern designs from my own photography and illustration.

My final graduate collection is entitled Urban Fairytales. The collection is based on the contradiction of modern life and the sacrifice of nature. The urban landscape is masking and destroying the natural one.

My interpretation of this, in this project was to exaggerate the elements of both sides. Using modern and man-made materials combined with natural elements and knitting them together in a striking and contemporary way to create fashion fabrics.
