Dear All, Quick note to say that....
I have been short-listed for a British Female Inventor and Innovator Award for my beaded t-shirt collection, The Muses – Humble Ambition!!!!
I have been invited to appear before a judging panel to explain the concept behind The Muses - Humble Ambition and what I feel makes my creation so special and original. The selection and awards will all take place on April 24th 2007.
The awards event is organised to celebrate and promote the creative, inventive and innovative products and inventions by women, includes categories such as awards for environmentally friendly products or services, another for innovative businesses, awards for Higher Education & Learning Institutions such as universities and colleges. There are 10 categories in total including the main award Female Inventor of the Year 2007.
It is a splendid platform for putting the spotlight on some of the world's top exceptionally creative, inventive and innovative women while they raise the aspirations of so many women with bright and innovative ideas. And yours truly has been short listed! Even if I don't win I am over the moon to be considered!
On another note, after much hard work the mock copy of The Talent Magazine has now been completed so please view it at the link below:

The mock is only 25 pages, the actual magazine will be 190 pages but this will give you an idea of the look, feel and direction we are going with this. The concept and angle is brand NEW and we have so many people behind it, things can really only go up. The launch issue will be on sale from May 18th 2007 (TBC), both online and through various distributors but I will keep you all posted.
