Ashley Isham

The Size-Zero debate has been filling up many a column inch this season and while we’ve been trying not to take too much notice Ashley Isham decided to have some fun with the issue. Against a backdrop of an enchanted forest landscape models paraded up and down a snow covered catwalk to the lyrics of “Big girls are beautiful.” In the design department Isham focused on hourglass silhouettes with his city-chic tailoring and drop dead gorgeous evening gowns. Along with flattering cuts and super feminine shapes the collection centred around luxury in a jewel toned palette of midnight blue, emerald green, antique gold and fuchsia. Lavish and opulent Isham is clearly a first choice designer when it comes to red carpet dressing and with a smattering of sparkling crystals his winter wonderland theme never looked better. The finale saw the super-tiny Isham making a statement with “I’m a size 0” emblazoned across his vest and “So what?” across his back.
