Profile: Katarina Lavender
Art and fashion were my greatest desires even though Media Studies, Journalism and Geography often distracted me. By the age of 13 I had begun modelling and was ever more enticed into the world of fashion, but how could I not be with an Uncle who was one of the countries best advertisement photographers. Raimund Lavender who now pursues the creative side of his works several years on following an affluent career www.raimundlavender.com.
Modelling only fuelled my urge to encompass myself in this world, adoring both excitement and beauty unique to each model and designer. I fell in to different avenues of the world of belle, taking part in Beauty Competitions encountering an entirely contrary manner of exposing beauty, the contrast between these worlds was vast but still holding similar attributes which allured me ever more to creating Divinity Model Management.
By the time I was 19 I had fallen on designing in Australia and at 21 I was at University studying Fashion Design, hence what brought me to England to continue my studies. After Uni. I started my first company ‘Goddess Hair’ and now today I have reverted to the child in me, with the hunger for the world of chic with a little spice, starting my second company - Divinity Model Management where Beauty meets Fashion

Born in New Zealand to English/German and Australasian Parents, fashion dominated my life I was always allured to its secrets, consequently it has eclipsed my life. I embellished the industry in every form, through school my art which was extremely significant to me mirrored this, as a child I drew the female form with great affinity.
