HISTORY

   Sugarhill started as an independent shop located in the fashionable district of Avinyo in Barcelona. Last year the popularity of the shop led the Sugarhill team to branch out to a world-wide market with the aim to offer fun and original designs at affordable prices.

 
   Sugarhill is Pawel Przedpelski and his little sis Aleks – luckily sibling rivalry was replaced with a great partnership which forms the back bone of this fresh up and coming  feminine streetwear label. Sugarhill combines fresh feminine chic with meaningful graphics and playful prints, encouraging women to express their individuality and passions through clothing. It is a labour of love – we personally supervise, source fabrics, dye our own materials and create our own unique prints.

   Sugarhill’s passionate and individual approach has paid off with a glowing international response and a rapidly growing world-wide clientele.   

   This Autumn/Winter 06/07 Sugarhill celebrates nature and the elements – thunder and lightening, lashing rain, stormy skies, rainbows, woodland tales and animals – all adapted with the Sugarhill touch of fun - if you can’t escape it, why not embrace it!

   The result – a quirky, fresh and subtle collection inspired by travels in Bali and Bangkok paying homage to eastern styles and creativity. Traditional hand embellishments adorn clean silhouettes. Unique retro japanese graphics and embroideries accentuate the aesthetics of nature. The ideal collection to see you through day to night, what ever your mood. Comfy pants and sexy tees – embroidered and adorned with precious charms, rocking embellished tops and trousers, dress up and dazzle skirts and dresses.

   Next season Sugarhill evokes chilled Goan sunsets, tropical beach scenes, making life-long friends, Bollywood disco nights, unexpected adventures, keepsakes, favourite sunbleached tees and momentos of joyous days…… Spring Summer 07 Sugarhill embarks on a journey round the globe, passing through tropical beach havens and vibrant foreign cities ending up in India, the land of the surreal and spiritual.

   A winning eclectic mix of styles and fabrics - fun, thoughtful graphics perfectly combined with unique silhouettes. Discover badges and patches on well worn canvas skirts and dresses, quirky Indian newspaper prints, sexy slouchy tees, jewels and sparkles, oversized funky prints, unexpected details – all effortlessly sassy.

   Sugarhill’s Spring Summer 07 is exactly what a spring summer collection should be about – putting a smile on your face and a spring in your step!
