EVP – Merchandising / Operations & Production

-Accountable for the daily operations of all owned offices; India- Bangalore, Delhi, Madras & NY

Oversee staff of 60 people inclusive of  Sales, Customer service, Merchandising, Fabric/Trim sourcing, Sampling, Fit approval and QC.

-Responsible for all phases of manufacturing process from initial design to first samples through final production & TOP approval.
-Coordinate sourcing of trims & fabric for each designated factory to execute price competitive programs tailored to the customer’s specific needs.
-Inception and implementation of development, quality control and production monitoring systems.
-Open new sources of supply that capitalize on changing market conditions yet meet the compliance criteria of U.S. labor laws.
-Direct all price negotiations with factory structure.

- Financial responsibility for all garment costings & achievement of company profit goals

- Assure quality and on time delivery of each program via an action plan and production schedule.   Maintain a proactive approach through daily communication with production facilities in India, Jordan & UAE
-Interaction with important Retail clients; Limited Inc, Lane Bryant,  Northern Group, QVC-Denim & Co, QVC-Quacker, JC Penney, Chadwicks, Jessica London, Wet Seal, TJ Max. Work with client to develop seasonal product strategies.
-Regular attendance of European fashion trade shows & market research to conduct trend, fabric and sample presentations for customers.

Sourcing structure was modified to capitalize on changing market conditions: expanded country structure & addition of new factories in established markets.
