We Are All Winners

Just about a year ago I had a new idea about changing my life and doing something completely different. Bo Bangles, was born from the inspiration of a tragedy, my Fathers death.

As I had no previous experience in making jewellery, E commerce or networking I had no idea what I was letting myself in for!

The hours have been extremely long and I am learning everything as I go: photography, designing, making, marketing, selling… I’m obviously not spending enough time in the kitchen as my son keeps complaining that he can’t get on the computer!

I could not have done it without those wonderful women and networking. Really, it has been an amazing time, I have had so much support and help from my new colleagues; at  the start Women At Work www.womenatwork.co.uk    featured me as a Diamond Gal  and from there I got to know Jackie  of the  Women’s Company www.thewomenscompany.co.uk  Not only are those lunches great fun but  It only took a phone call from her and I have found myself  talking to Jenny  of the London Fashion Forum …meeting up at London Fashion Week……sorting out my jewellery to go on their Boutique.

I’ve had some other good news.  I recently discovered that I am a finalist for the Startups awards 2004…… so keep everything crossed for October 15............... But we know we are all winners!
