Fashion From Fabrics
 


Program Overview

The 'Fashion from Fabrics' programme is a joint venture between the Irish Fashion Industry Federation (IFIF) and the Welsh based Welsh Clothing & Textile Association (WCTA) and has been awarded funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) INTERREG IIIA Ireland/Wales.

The overall aim of the programme is to provide small to medium Clothing and Textile Companies in Ireland and Wales with a proactive programme aimed to tackle the deficiencies in fabric awareness and fabric sourcing. Specifically the programme aims to provide SMEs in this sector with fabric information that is currently available from limited sources to allow them to develop their companies further.

The 'Fashion from Fabrics' programme will comprise of a mix of components e.g. Residential Seminars, Research Assignments and the Development of Distance Learning Material. All information and findings will be posted on the Website as they arise.
