Hanging it all together for the fashion industry
NEWSLETTER

Another new initiative to shout from the roof tops! We are absolutely delighted to be working with Charlene Campbell and Marie Proctor from Annazbell who will be working on a new monthly trends feature.  Ever since we re-launched the trends section we wanted to showcase the latest catwalk trends from the big fashion houses and world catwalks but alas…budget restrictions! Then along came Charlene and Marie with a fantastic new concept that is “hot to trot”. Each month Annazbell will be reporting on Womenswear and Menswear fashion trends from the world’s famous catwalks. To review their press release click here

Soon Annazbell will have their own unique diary on FashionCapital. Keep your eyes peeled!

As this newswire is being sent to you we are updating the fabric section with over 70 new fabric swatches being scanned in from quality suppliers such as Pongees Ltd and Viscount Textiles Ltd. By tomorrow morning you will be able to feast your eyes on the delights of fabric swatches supplied by Bernstein & Banleys Ltd and James Hare Silks too. Over the next few months this fabric archive will grow and encompass more and more suppliers along with additional gems from Caroline Shaw. Just think of the time it will save all you designers out there when sourcing your fabrics for next season’s collection!

Many thanks to Rachel Schwab reporting live from Toronto http://www.fashioncapital.co.uk/index.php?option=content&task=view&Itemid=27&id=2350/27/ and also to Kyrsty Hazell for her fashion feature on how to add a bit of va va voom  to your tootsies this summer! http://www.fashioncapital.co.uk/index.php?option=content&task=view&Itemid=27&id=2352/27/

I swear I am three inches shorter than this time last week! I managed to run the marathon and whilst I was slow, and I mean slow, I did not stop once and managed a vague sprint to the finish line along Pall Mall. It was worth all the pain (I think) and certainly the crowds and supporters give you an absolute high. Thank you all so much for all the well wishes and money pledged – St Mary’s Hospice and Whizz Kidz will be most grateful. Big congratulations to Jenny Thomas DTI who I think was virtually in the slip stream of Paula!

Until next week.

Kind regards
