Hanging it all together for the fashion industry
NEWSLETTER

Jenny is away in France on a well deserved break, so it has been left to my attention to write this week’s newswire.  The LFF team have been inundated with calls regarding next months select profile 5.  This is an event surely not to be missed!!

Stephanie has been sifting through the mounds of applications in order to find out if they have met the requirements.  The selection process will start next week whereby six womenswear, six menswear and six accessory designers will be short listed after which two days will be set aside for the fittings.  Good-luck to all the designers who have applied!

As you know London Fashion Week took place this week and ends today.  The LFF had a stand at the event for the second season running and gained much attention from (buyers, press and magazine editors such as Glamour Magazine) who were very interested in select Profile 5.  Hundreds even thousands of promotional material was distributed throughout LFW and also at Pure!

Next week Fashioncapital will have a selection of pictures from the shows along with some pictures of the designers who were in the exhibition marquee.  Designers have been interviewed and asked what they thought would be the next HOT item for A/W 05/06.

I am off to Fashion and Textile Museum on Monday to promote their current exhibition entitled “ZANDRA RHODES: A LIFELONG LOVE AFFAIR WITH TEXTILES” This is a fantastic exhibition and I can’t wait to go.  The LFF are grateful to Michelle Arnush –Press and Marketing coordinator for her co-operation.  The images will be loaded onto the site early next week so keep your eye on the online museum textile section.  In the mean time if you would like to find out more information then please visit the site

Have a great week
