Hanging it all together for the fashion industry
NEWSLETTER

It was with a tear in our eye that we completed the Delivery Course at Langley Park School for Boys yesterday. The two selected garments arrived from the ever trustworthy Julie Anna Designs (very grateful thanks for turning round the three couture garments in just three days) and the students were delighted to see their ideas transform into a reality. Tonight the garments will be showcased on live models at a drama event at the school. Just goes to prove what a little foresight, commitment and perseverance can achieve! Well done to the 30 plus students who went through the seven week course - it was a pleasure to work with such high calibre could-be designers!

The LFF are now in talks next year to see how such a course can be implemented into other years at LPSB especially after receiving such comments as below

The fashion course was an excellent experience that I will do again for sure.

Valerie Osibona.

Best course I've ever been on would definitely do it again.

So we have gone live with Profile and TBC and the phones haven't stopped ringing. From an industry perspective it’s a real win win situation and it's great to have had already strong support from Drapers Record. So have you registered yet for either the ladieswear, menswear or accessories event of the season. On 12th and 13th February at Tobacco Dock? To think you could be showcasing your collection next to the heavy hitting brands such as Diesel and Levis! It will still be the same format as before with the ever expanding Catwalk Theatre and is still sponsored by Hobbs, House of Fraser, Debenhams and Whistles. It's also brilliant to have the WCTA as partners again with their Huw Williams Tribute Award.
