Want to work in fashion?

If you’ve seen ‘The Devil Wear Prada’, you’ll know that the fashion industry is a notoriously competitive and difficult industry to get into, and even trickier to be successful in.

_style_Aware are running a series of one day beginner’s workshops from the 7th-18th July.

Led by Faye Marriott, this unique course provides an insight into the exciting world of fashion assisting and styling for those who want to succeed in this fast growing, fast paced and cut throat industry. You will be introduced to the fundamental basics of fashion assisting which will enable you to eventually become a stylist in your own right. The course also covers:

• How to get started, work experience, who to contact, cover letters and CV building.
• Fashion internships-everything you need to know to be a success, from introductions to PR agencies, how to stand out from the rest, to the rules and etiquette of the dreaded 'fashion cupboard'
• How to assist on fashion shoots- learn how to become the best fashion assistant in the business, and become indispensable to stylists.
• How to get your first paid job as a stylist, portfolio building and how to be a stylist on your own.

Places are limited and cost £100. For more information and to book please email info@_style_aware.co.uk.
