FASHION TECHNICIAN
Ref: FT/AC
Salary circa £21,500p.a. pro rata per annum depending on qualifications and experience
18 hours per week 52 weeks per year
PART TIME
You will be expected to work as part of a team to provide an efficient and effective support service to both students and lecturing staff, including demonstrating machinery, health and safety and supervision within the workshops. You should have a good understanding of fashion production processes, including garment manufacturer pattern cutting, equipment and materials. Some textiles experience is required but is not essential. The ideal candidate will be flexible and a good communicator with a sound grasp of current developments in the fashion industry.
