The Manchester Fashion Network (MFN) is a new, online fashion industry magazine, portal and events company. It is _base_d in Manchester and primarily serves the needs of North West and Northern fashion and fashion related businesses.

We are looking for staff that enjoy a challenge and are prepared to put in the hours to build something new and exciting. You must understand and enjoy the fashion business, be creative, think on your feet and act on your own initiative; you must also be able to work as part of a tight team to produce results. This is an ideal opportunities for anyone looking to expand their career in the fashion, clothing and the creative industry.

Sales and Events Coordinator
You will be responsible for developing and promoting a full year’s programme of industry events which will include; exhibitions, talks, debates, parties, shows and other functions. On occasions in order to deliver some of the above, you will be required to work with and coordinate external partners as well as organising some of the events you’re self.

Within this role you will be in charge of sourcing sponsorship for the above, source advertising for the website and helping to develop and implement a strategy for recruiting new members to MFN.

You will need an understanding of how the fashion and clothing industries work and be able to operate within tight deadlines and to specific sales targets.

Experience
• A track record in sourcing sponsorship, sales and or advertising
• Experience of events organisation preferable in the fashion industry
• Experience of working to sales targets
