When you say 'Practice work' do you mean work experience? I am a little confused!
Sounds like you know what you want but am a little unsure what your specialism is??
What are you aiming for if you were to do work experience? Do you specialise in designing/ textile printing/ art/ writing ?? I am putting together a magazine for my final project at Uni so if you wanted to help, that'll be cool. But I would have to find out what you are looking to gain out of this. Plus, I am aiming to finish the magazine at the end of May 2006, so will be finished before summer 06'.
If you wanted to get experience in the fashion industry, my advice is to get yourself out there. Write to PR companies/ magazines/ freelancers whoever you feel is relevant to what you want to do and offer to work for them. Send your C.V and telephone to chase them up about 5 days after you send the letter. Explain to them what you are looking for and check your English for spelling mistakes as many professionals won't even read the whole letter if there is a spelling mistake! Harsh I know, but it's the reality!
As a student myself, I know how hard it is to get work experience and you have to be really persistant if you want to get somewhere.
