"Emure" is a ready to wear womenswear fashion label _base_d in Surrey/London. Due to the continual growth of the company we have the following positions available for Work Experience initially for a 2 month trial and then made permanent for a further 6 month placement. 1)
P.R & Marketing - looking for an individual who has studied in P.R & Media and has the ability to write press releases, putting together press packs, and is confident and articulate in dealing with all press and media coverage concerning "Emure". You will need to be trained to at least Graduate level or are a student seeking placement on a year out. Will also consider applications from non-Graduates. Experience would be an advantage but not essential. Must have good telephone and communication skills as you will be the voice of "Emure" aiming to get features into the press/media. Webdesigner/Ecommerce - looking for an individual who has the ability to produce a high standard fashion _base_d website. Working closely with the designer you will have the knowledge and efficiency to make a website from a brief. Must be confident in using HTML and other web builder packages. You need to be creative and be able to work on your own initiative. This job includes development of the Ecommerce business website and running and monitoring the current website

Sales Agents X 2 - looking for individuals who strive on attaining new business and are sales driven. Who are confident, reliable, and have the ability to pitch a potential sale to new customers. The main sales area for "Emure" is to place our products in the fashion retail industry in the UK, and where possible overseas too. The ability to learn about our products efficiently will give you the extra confidence to sell the "Emure" range. Looking for individuals who have some experience, and are trained in Sales/Marketing/Business/Fashion Buying. You will be trained in all aspects of the products. Assistant/Trainee Designer - Working closely with the Head Designer you will work on collections. Developing the latest ranges as well as working on new collections. You will have the ability to design ranges of womenswear clothing efficiently and be able to translate your product to the head designer confidentally. Strong Pattern-Cutting and basic sewing skills would be beneficial. Main sampling and production is done in a local Factory, so you need to be able to provide the factory with clear working drawings, and sewing instructions. Currently fabrics have been sourced for current and new ranges but this will be another main feature to continually source new fabric as we do attend fabric fairs nationally and now internationally. Must be trained to college/university level. Must have creative flair, and be able to design and produce garments that are accessible to the High End Designer High Street Market.
