There's an article and a new thread on the moneysavingexpert site. For cheapest delivery, the answer is parcel post up to 2kg at £6 or £7, and DHL home delivery service booked through a cut-price broker for heavery cartons. Prices have just gone-up, so it's best to start reading the thread from the newest end.

Hi,

We normally recommend local couriers, we are _base_d in Bromley and Croydon and tend to use Practical Services which is a small local company in Orpington.
