Hi
I am an enthusiastic, hardworking student and have just completed the second year of study for B.Sc. Honours, International Fashion Marketing within the Clothing Design Technology Department at Manchester Metropolitan University. I am currently looking for a placement position that would help gain me some experience within the Fashion Industry.
The knowledge that I have acquired on this demanding degree programme covers a range of subjects from fundamental marketing knowledge on the global fashion industry, to product development and fashion design. The programme also contains general related business modules such as financial management and accounting as well as information technology.
The placement I am looking for would ideally be in the London or Manchester area (although I'm willing to relocate anywhere) and give me a taster of product development as well as marketing and business experience. As I have enjoyed both these subjects at university I am confused about what area I would be most suited to have a career in.
