I am an undergraduate currently in my final year of studies at the University of Sheffeild looking at a future career in the fashion pr industry. I am very interested in a placement with your company although I can see that the dates of your work experinces clash with my completion of my studies, I was wondering if there will be any similar opportunities available on my graduation?

Rapidly expanding accessories brand, knomo (www.knomo.com) are looking for work experience help to assist the Brand Manager full-time over a 1 month period within our in-house press office (_base_d in Great Titchfield Street off Oxford Street, London).

Working as 'Assistant Brand Manager', you will be dealing with journalists (both in the UK and abroad), maintaining samples and send-outs to fashion/travel/business/technology publications and generally helping out with day-to-day office duties. The role is very varied and a lot of fun. This fantastic opportunity will see you working on marketing opportunities (in-store in places such as Harrods, Harvey Nicks, John Lewis etc and on-line), events organisation, involvement in LFW, designer collaborations, and ties with larger technology/fashion/design brands. Currently we are conducting interviews for placements in October and November 2007 and January and February 2008.

The role will suit anyone with the ability to learn quickly, who is looking to break into fashion-pr and make contacts within the industry. The placement is unpaid, however we do cover travel expenses and provide lunch, plus we will offer those who work with us comprehensive help with portfolio and CV preparation along with a fantastic reference, contacts for job opportunities and help and support in securing a paid job upon completion of the placement.
