Our client is a major market leader in fashion and costume jewellery and accessories. They provide an emphasis on first class service to all their clients in the exciting and ever-changing world of fashion retail.
They are looking for an Junior Merchandiser and an Assistant Merchandiser who will report to the Head of Merchandising

To maximise profit for through stock management, planning and analysis. To plan and trade the department within agreed parameters

Main Duties
• To work with the buyer to agree and review departmental plans and to ensure that the correct procedures are followed at all stages
• To provide relevant and timely analysis and planning documentation to the buyer and to management
• To establish and maintain good communication with host company and with buying and merchandising teams. The Quality Assurance Manual outlines many examples of how these relationships can be improved and developed
• To establish and maintain good communication with the field team and work together to drive profit
• To ensure a balanced distribution of stock to each of the brands/stores and ongoing management of stock levels
• To identify potential for growth/factors which might limit sales and provide solutions to the same
• To use systems efficiently to ensure the validity of data
• To ensure stock and services meet the standards outlined in the Quality Assurance Manual
• To support the implementation of healthy and safe working practices


Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex
Salary: £18,000+ dependent on experience

Applicants should have a costume jewellery or accessories background and knowledge of working with the high street with at least ONE YEAR'S EXPERIENCE in a similar position.
