They are looking for a 2 Buyers who will report to the Head Buyer

To assist the Senior Buyer in purchasing a range within the agreed parameters of category, price and margin that fits the customer profile and host company requirements

Main Duties
• To ensure the range meets the standards outlined in the Quality Assurance Manual
• To build a data _base_ of core lines
• To identify and develop predicted trends
• To establish and maintain good communication with suppliers and host company and with merchandising team. The Quality Assurance Manual outlines many examples of how these relationships can be improved and developed
• To work closely with the merchandiser to agree and review departmental plans and to ensure that the correct procedures are followed at all stages
• To support the implementation of healthy and safe working practices

Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex
Salary: JUNIOR BUYER - £20 - 25,000
SENIOR BUYER - £30 - 45,000

Applicants should have a costume jewellery or accessories background and knowledge of working with the high street with at least 1 year's experience in a similar position or 2-3 years for the Senior position.
