HI in London there is an organisation called One London that allows you to submit a business plan and apply for funding - I believe its in the form of a loan but it has preferential terms e.g. there is a delayed payback period and a lower interest rate.

For information and advice there are organisatoins out there that can help e.g. the British Fashion Counicl has recieved funding to help new businesses succeed they are _base_d at 5 Portland Place in London.

There is another organisations run by Michael Goodmaker Called Designer First Aid, Fashion Works by Doreen Adusei, Creative Differences by Frances Richards and then of course there is Fashion Enter the sister company to www.fashioncapital.co.uk.

Fashion Enter is a not for profit company that helps in all areas of fashion. We are a talent scout for ASOS.com, we have two of our own boutiques so desginers can earn an income stream direct from the public and we supply information on tap including a PR Dispensary to generate real PR in trade and consumer magaazines. And they will direct you to appropriate support organisations local to you
