After Gwen Stefani broke onto the music scene with her Harajuku girls, Japanese fashion became one of last years big new trends. Gwen has started her own successful clothing line from it and magazines such as ID still regularly look at the streets of Tokyo for fashion advice and influence.

I was wondering, is the Japanese cultural influence in the UK here to stay or is just a passing phase. Onitsuka Tiger have recently launched a showcase of Japanese fashion and music (www.lostintranslation.co.uk) but is it too late for the Japanese trainer company? What do you think?
