Thanks for that Emily. Unfortunately our internet connection is not fast enough for Skype here yet, but I will look into signing up for an annual membership. I recently joined for a month just to see how much use I will get from the site but am already making use of all the information you have to offer. I run a knitting company here in Kenya, which numbers over 240 women. Even though there are so many of us I often feel rather alone when it comes to fashion ispiration so am looking forward to seeing what everyone else is up to - especially in the area of knitting and textiles.

Hello,
Even though you feel cut off in Kenya, we can still help you. Director of Fashion Enter, Jenny Holloway has just returned from a Trade Mission to South Africa and is due to revisit in May, to work with and promote designers over there.
Why don't you consider becoming a amember to beneift from the services we have to offer all our members. The cost is £150 + VAT for one years membership. We have members from all over the world and we currently use skype the instant messager service to stay in touch as well as good old fashioned emails.
Kind Regards
Emily

I was a big fan of Dasmarca designs when they first came out and was inspired by those chunky, wild knits. Now, however I can't seem to find out what has happened to this designer. Is he still experimenting with extreme knitting? I would be grateful for any info. I am stuck in rural Kenya and so feel completely cut off from the fashion world. Have just discovered this website. Hurrah!!
