I know this place. I can recommend them. They are just a small group of woman that get together each Saturday down there. Its a real find.

Have you heard of the Vauxual City Farm in London? There is a group of women who meet each Saturday and use the spinning facilities there. I believe that some have the skill _base_ you are looking for.

There is a man called Nigel Rust who is very involved with the group. He works there on a charity basis but you can contact him on 07734 418778.

Good luck

Hi,

Not a skills exchange but just thought I'd mention the Weardowney School of Handcraftmanship - they offer various handcraft courses at their boutique in Marylebone. Maybe good to hook up with other crafty folk. For more info e-mail: school@weardowney.com or call 0207 725 9694

I'm looking for someone to teach me crochet and amigurumi. I am good at most craft skills, but i'm finding this tricky to learn as i don't have any grandparents or relatives to teach me. I live in London and thought this might be a nice way to meet a fellow craft / design person.

I return (on and hour for hour basis) i can offer sewing, cutting out, or maybe teach you another craft you don't know?

Email me so we can chat further and maybe help eachother out?!
