After the sell out success of our summer fashion styling workshops, _style_aware are now running them again on the following dates:

All courses run in a photographic studio in East London and last for one day from 10am - 5pm.

Led by Faye Marriott, this unique course provides an insight into the exciting world of fashion assisting and styling for those who want to succeed in this fast growing, fast paced and cut throat industry. Faye has worked for numerous publications, including Vogue (USA,China, Spain, Japan), Marie Claire and Stella Magazine. You will be introduced to the fundamental basics of fashion assisting which will enable you to eventually become a stylist in your own right. The course also covers:

* Practical styling exercise - your look will be shot by a renowned fashion photographer which you can use as a test shot. You will be set a styling brief, and will styling, directing and producing your own shoot.
* How to get started, work experience, who to contact, cover letters and CV building
* Fashion internships-everything you need to know to be a success, from introductions to PR agencies, how to stand out from the rest, to the rules and etiquette of the dreaded 'fashion cupboard'
* How to assist on fashion shoots- learn how to become the best fashion assistant in the business, and become indispensable to stylists
* How to get your first paid job as a stylist, portfolio building and how to be a stylist on your own
