Hello,

I have just spent a few weeks in Paris and my friends over there spoke to me about this exclusive private club called vente-privee.com. I was told that they sell designer brand products at discount prices and that immediately got my attention.

I did a bit of research on this vente-privee.com company and apparently they were the first to launch this whole private sales concept online and were even copied in the U.S. They 're big in France, Germany, Spain - Italy ( recently) and now they have launched their UK wesbite.

There some companies doing the same thing now in the UK - mostly French people. Is this the new ' in thing' ? Will window shopping soon disappear and leave the room for 'screen shopping'. I'm not starting a polemic I 'm just observing!
