Meet Siggi Siegfried Hesbacher, known as Siggi, graduated from an art and design course in Germany in 1980. Moving to England, he gained essential skills in tailoring, cutting and sewing through hands-on experience in a shop on London’s Portobello Road. At the same time he learned valuable hat-making skills by working with Francis Wilson, the theatrical designer, who made head-dresses and hats for stage, films and museums.
