Calling the Shots (CTS) is an Open College Network (OCN) accredited multi-media education and resource package which supports, empower and encourage young people to work against guns, knifes, gangs and other criminal activities. CTS is an initiative of the Mayor of London's Crime and Disorder Plus Steering Group and developed by From Boyhood to Manhood Foundation. The resource package is closely linked to the government's citizen education priorities. CTS programme is also in the process of accredited by Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC) is to endorse youth and community workers' qualifications which have been professionally approved by the Education and Training Standards (ETS) Committee of the National Youth Agency (NYA) On completion of the workshops successfully, the trainees will receive Certificate of Attendance. |
